Final Construction on Clark Lodge begins!
Our new Facilities Director, Dave Milton, has aquired his Teller County Class A general contractor's license, rolled up his sleeves and gotten to work. An architect has completed the plans which have been submitted to the county and are under review. Plumbing, HVAC and electrical subcontractors have been selected and a Lead Carpenter hired. While the 16 year process has left us impatient at times to complete this building project, praise the Lord for His faithfulness over the years as His timing is perfect! We are on schedule to have the building finished by summer of 2010. With this final phase of construction done, we will be adding 6 more hotel style rooms, another large meeting space and public restrooms in the lower level, a Camp Store, Cafe' and Game Room on the main level and a 2 bedrrom/2 bathroom suite with a kitchenette and sitting room on the upper level.
Thanks to all who have steadfastly sacrificed their time and resources over the years to see this project to its end and ESPECIALLY to the prayer warriors who have worn out more than one prayer closet rug while on their knees on our behalf. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!!
