Summer Meeting Spaces & Amenities
Chapel
Built in 1953 of pine logs on a foundation of granite rocks from the surrounding mountains and featuring two huge stone fireplaces, the Chapel at Quaker Ridge will be the focal point of your ministry time here. Seating capacity is 225, but the chairs can be quickly cleared away to leave plenty of room for skits, breakout groups, games, etc. The south wall is full of windows to show off a one-of-a-kind view of Pikes Peak while the west side faces our reflection pond surrounded by benches for those times of quiet meditation.
The stage is large enough to accommodate a full-size worship band and has complete stage lighting and AV control from the sound and light booth in the back of the room.
The Chapel has a built-in four-speaker public address system for vocal reinforcement and audio for the built-in AV system. The Chapel PA system is not designed to run a band through, so your summer camp worship band will need to bring their own system. Quaker Ridge does NOT provide microphones, cables, direct boxes, etc. for your PA and AV needs, so please bring what you need to run your programming.
